American professors seek understanding on University of Southeast Asia

On August 2, American professors met and had a working session with Tan Tao Group‘s leaders at the Tan Tao Office in 186-188 Le Lai street, Ben Thanh Ward, Dist. 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

A delegation of US academics comprising of Ph.D. Ray M. Bowen, Honorary President of Texas A&M University; Dr. Water V.Wendler of Southern Illinois University; Dr. Mark S. Schieid, Senior Fullbright specialist; and Andy Mac Phillimy, a Principal of Morris Architects were received by President of the Tan Tao Group Thai Van Men; and Vice-presidents Nguyen Tuan Minh and Nguyen Thi Suong, in addition to numerous staff and employees of the Group.

The visit aimed at facilitating a better understanding of the infrastructure, investment potential and opportunites, and the curriculums of University of Southeast Asia (UOSA) and Vietnamese education. The delegation also given an insight into the business activities of the Tan Tao Group, including its recruitment and career development policies to bring in and attract talented individuals and staff studying abroad in particular.

According to the Tan Tao Group, when the UOSA officially comes into operation, it will provide a quality workforce to countries in the region and across the world at the wish of the founder - businesswoman Hoang Yen in whose vision; “The University of Southeast Asia will be renowned worldwide for its teaching, research and services. This leading private university will provide educational opportunities, spur Vietnam’s economic growth and be recognized as a desirable destination for any students around the world.”
