Australian enterprises seek investment opportunities in Tan Tao Group
After the Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung ‘s two-day official visit to Australia, a number of cooperation agreements have been signed to boost comprehensive cooperation and economic ties between two countries.
The Prime Minister and his entourage attended the Vietnam-Australia Business Forum on October 14 held by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Victoria State.
In his speech at the Business Forum, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung affirmed that the Vietnamese Government would accelerate administrative reform to create a more transparent and convenient environment for foreign investors.
Chairwoman of the Tan Tao Group Dang Thi Hoang Yen and the Group‘s Vice-president Dang Quang Hanh also attended the forum and met with various enterprises intending to invest in Vietnam and the Tan Tao Group.

During the visit, a number of Australian enterprises comprised of A’Vard Industries, Waratah Coal, Industry Capability Network and others had meetings to discuss business and investment opportunities with the Tan Tao Group.
Australian enterprises felt the Vietnamese Government’s move to permit ANZ to establish a wholly foreign-owned bank is evidence of the rapid development in economic ties between the two countries, and also suggested that Vietnamese Government should create more favorable conditions for them to make long-term investment in Vietnam.

The success of the visit will strengthen the friendship and multi-faceted cooperation between two countries in general and among enterprises in particular.
