ITA Group welcomes the United States Ambassador - Michael Michalak
On May 5, 2009, the Management Board and Leaders of Tan Tao Group (ITA GROUP) had the honor to welcome Mr. Michael Michalak – the United States Ambassador in Vietnam to Tan Duc Industrial Park and the construction site of Tan Tao University in Duc Hoa District - Long An Province.
Mrs. Dang Thi Hoang Yen – Chairwoman of Tan Tao Group, Mr. Thai Van Men – President of Tan Tao Group, Mr. Jimmy Tran - Vietnam Land’s GD, together with the senior leaders of Tan Tao Group warmly welcomed the delegation.
At the meeting, the representatives of Tan Tao Group introduced to the Ambassador about the establishment process and achievements during the past 12 years, the strengths of Tan Tao Group in attracting investment and projects that have been implemented across the country as well as the orientations in the future, especially - Tan Tao University - the first international university of Vietnam under the United States standards.
The Ambassador and the Tan Tao Group’s management board were especially interested in Tan Tao University and discussed deeply on some solutions/ways, with the supports from the United States Government, and the Ambassador personally, to attract top professors from the United States and the professors who were teaching at Fulright program to participate in training and developing higher-level human resources at University Tan Tao.
At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador and his delegation went around Tan Duc Industrial Park and join the tree planting ceremony at Tan Tao University.
