Tan Tao Group‘s representative receives Southern Golden Star Award 2008
In the evening August 22, the Ceremony of awarding Southern Golden Star 2008 with the theme ‘Southern Star – Rising to illuminate’ to 50 trademarks and products of enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City took place at the Ben Thanh Theatre in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Ceremony was attended by representatives of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, Ho Chi Minh City People‘s Committee, Standing Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, branches, departments, unions and 500 enterprises nationwide.
The Southern Golden Star belonging to the system of the Vietnam Golden Star Award aims to honor enterprises and trademarks of Vietnam in the process of international integration.
Trademarks and products awarded Southern Star 2008 are required to meet with 5 international competitive standards including: Competitive capacity and market position of products with trademarks; Technology, environment and quality management; Trademark building and development; Business management and administration; Achievement of enterprises in operation and social activities.

Among 39 awarded trademarks of 44 enterprises consist of numerous prominent trademarks such as Ton Hiep Hung corrugated iron, OPC pharmaceutical products, Thien Long, Tan Tao Group, PTSC, Sacomreal, An Phuoc.
In addition, the Golden Heart of Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association also awarded 100 scholarships to 100 students during the Ceremony.
