Vietnam Education Ministry highly regards University of Southeast Asia project

American professors and Tan Tao Group‘s representative work with Vietnam‘s Ministry of Education and Training.

American professors and representatives of the Tan Tao Group worked with the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) on the University of Southeast Asia project (UOSA). The working session was chaired by the MoET‘s Deputy Minister Banh Tien Long.

The delegation of American academics was comprised of Ph.D. Ray M. Bowen, Honorary President of Texas A&M University; Dr. Water V. Wendler of Southern Illinois University; Dr. Mark S. Schieid, Senior Fulbright Specialist; Mr. Andy MacPhilimy of Morris Architects (U.S).

At the meeting, the Tan Tao Group‘s representative presented the UOSA‘s design as well as its curriculums. The UOSA will be situated in the Tan Duc Industrial Park with the Tan Tao Group as a main investor. It will become a modern university following the models of leading universities in the U.S and developed countries to be a leading training center in the region to attract Vietnamese and foreign students.

American professors and specialists appreciated the UOSA project and shared experiences of implementing advanced training programs currently used in the U.S and developed countries. Their opinions were also highly regarded by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Tan Tao Group to better the UOSA project.

The MoET‘s Deputy Minister Banh Tien Long expressed high regard of the UOSA project of the Tan Tao Group. He also expected the university to develop into a leading training center in the region and in the world to expand this high quality human resources training model to further development of the country‘s education and training cause.
