ITA-s Activity

Leaders of Dien Bien province and Tan Tao Group recently visited a construction site where a hostel is being built for poor students in a northern province.

24 March, 2008, Hoa Binh Opera House, Ho Chi Minh City. Tan Tao Group donate over VND 200 million to the organizers of the Quang Ngai Emotional Night music festival.

In 2008 ITA-s will continue offering scholarships to poor students who perform well. This is in addition to the three further funds offered by ITA: : ITA-s for Future, ITA-s for overcoming illnesses and ITA-s for healing sorrows.

At 6.30 on March 10, the Ceremony of offering 20 Ita-s for Future scholarships was held at Long Thoi secondary school in Nha Be district, Ho Chi Minh city.

233 teachers and students were honoured at a ceremony held by the Tan Tao Group and the Ho Chi Minh Television station on the evening of March 2. Held at the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House the ceremony honoured figures involved in manufacture, production, business, and study.

On the morning of February 26, 2008, at the Thanh Hoa Convention Center, the ITA-Foundations of the Tan Tao Group (Ho Chi Minh city) in coordination with the Learning Promotion Association handed over 183 scholarships to poor students of the province.

On the morning of February 23, representatives of the Tan Tao Group handed over VND 2.1 billion to build 70 compassion houses for policy people of Long An province at the Ceremony of offering compassion houses held at the Long An Committee House.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoa, Head of Administration and Foreign Relations of the Tan Tao Group ‘s Nothern representative office, Hanoi, offered VND 2 billion for the construction of schools in Thai Binh province.

At 8 a.m on January 30, 2008, the Competition Festival of Wrapping ‘banh chung’ and ‘banh tet’ was held along with the Ceremony presenting ITA-Foundations scholarships to children with good academic performance at the Meeting-Hall on Dam Sen Cutural Park Island.

Between January 20 and 24, 2008, Mr. Dang Quang Hanh, Vice-President of Tan Tao Group, visited and presented gifts to teachers facing difficult challenges in remote northern mountainous areas in the ITA-Foundations program entitled “Supporting poor teachers in remote mountainous areas."
