ITA FOUNDATION FOR THE FUTURE
1. Sponsor source and executive aim:
ITA's Foundation for the Future was set up from contribution made by the ITA Group’s leader. In the next step, the ITA Foundation will be open to all those, at all levels, willing to donate money to the charity.
The Foundation's aim:
- ITA offers scholarships to able but impovrished pupils and students creating the condition for them to improve their ability and improve their standards of living.
- Each scholarship is worth VND 1 million per term for a pupil.
- The pupils and students receiving the scholarship will continue to receive the scholarship in concurrent terms provided they still maintain their good result and is also subject to the Foundation's finances.
2. Leaders of the Foundation:
1) Mrs. Dang Thi Hoang Yen, – Chairwoman of the Board of Management of - ITA GROUP, acts as President.
2) Mrs. Nguyen Nhu Y, - Deputy of ITA GROUP, acts as Deputy President
3) Mrs. Huynh Minh Ha – Editor of ItaExpress is a permanent member of the board
4) In addition, the ITA Foundation will invite the advice of local leaders, editors, and residents for each course
3. Objects:
- Pupils (of lelvels I, II, and III) and students of all of schools in Vietnam, who have suffer from financial hardship or are impovrished but want to improve their ability and standards of living.
4. Standard:
Based on scale of 100, with criteria such as:
- Present attainment of the student
- Family circumstances
- Submission of written work.
5. Application Process:
- Information about the scholarship programme “ITA Foundation For the Future” can be found on Web at: www.itaexpress.com.vn and mass media.
- The pupils and students hoping to be recipients of the ITA Foundation's funds must apply using the document entitled: “ITA Foundation For the Future”
The documents and details required for application include:
1. Application form (this can be downloaded from: www.itaexpress.com.vn)
2. Documents required may include:
· Curriculum Vitae and confirmation from local authority of hardship (notarized copy)
· Certificate indicating that applicant is the son of a martyr or wounded soldier (notarized copy)
· Certificate that applicant is of an ethnic minority (notarized copy)
· Proof of termly grade-point average (confirmed and notarized of school)
· Certificate of merit of studying achievement: district, city, or country level proof that applicant is an able pupil (notarized copy)
· Certificate of merit or certificate of attending extracurricular activities such as voluntary work or sporting activities
· Letter of introduction from teacher (confirmed and notarized of school)

6. ITA Foundation For the Future Scholarship Ceremony:
Successful applicants will receive their scholarship through a ceremony at one of three cities across the country: either the capital Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City or Da Nang.
The time and locations of the events will be announced in due time through the Ita-Express Website: www.itaexpress.com.vn and through other media. ITA will send invitations to guests, pupils and students at a closer date.
- Those attending the ceremony will include:
a. The Leader of Party and a Government Representative
b. ITA Group Representative.
c. ITA Foundation For the Future Representative.
d. Representative of organisations and schools whose pupils receive the sholarship
e. Newspaper and Media Representatives.
f. Pupils and students receiving scholarships.

7. Structural Activity:
- Scholarships from the ITA's Foundation For the Future are on offer twice per year, with each scholarship worth VND 1 million per term. However, the Foundation may fund above this level, although this depends on the Foundation’s finances at the time.
- Summary and report on the activities of the ITA's Foundation For the Future are given twice per year
- Student exchanges and activities will be organized between pupils via www.itaexpress.com.vn
- An ITA Scholarship Winners Club wil be established. The club will meet frequently with the aim that it will be a bridge between pupils and the ITA. The ITA will continue offering scholarships for pupils and students who maintain good results. In addition the ITA will continue to support new students. If this club becomes a success it will set a new precedent for success: successful pupils and students who rteceived ITA scholarships will return the help extended to them by continuing the ITA's work amongst poor pupils and students in similar circumstances as they themselves had experienced.
