Waterworks Project With Capacity Of 300,000 m3 Per Day

ItaExpress - Waterworks Project With Capacity Of 300,000 m3 Per Day, located at Thanh Loi Commune, Ben Luc District, Long An Province.

Long An province’s area is consisting of 17 industrial zones that are in the progress of investing and expanding, thus it is obligatory to ensure that the infrastructure is invested one step ahead, to create best conditions, facilities for investors to keep their minds on investing and developing the production and operation. Nevertheless, the water supply system in industrial zones hasn’t been constructed, or already available but its capacity cannot meet the consumption needs of industrial zones. Therefore, the execution of engineering a water supplying station with the capacity of 300.000 m3/day is necessary.

At the place surveyed, the water consumption standard in industrial zones is average 256,880 m3 per day, for households in the area is 106,626 m3 per day.

Sites for getting water.

The water is taken from the location of Loc Chinh Hamlet, Loc Giang Commune. The water in this region is very suitable, but it is far from the location of the workshops (about 30km).

The water is taken from the area of Hiep Hoa Sugar Plant, belonging to Hiep Hoa commune. This is a very ideal location, with year-round fresh water..

The water is taken from the area of Hoc Thom Hamlet, Hoa Khanh Tay commune. This is also a location providing fresh water all year round.

The water is taken from Vam Co river’s port (invested by Tan Tao Company). The water in this area is often infected by alum and salt.

Investment Project:

Total invested capital to engineer the waterworks is projected to be 70 million USD. The division of the investment is 4 years, including 2 periods:

  • 1st period. Tan Tao Group will invest appointments so that the waterworks can operate in a soonest time with the capacity from 100.000 – 150.000 m3/day. In this period, the waterworks will employ the subterranean water supply of Vam Co Dong water. This is a water supply to have a relatively high and stable flow to meet the maximum output capcacity of the station.
  • 2nd period . The capacity of the waterworks is raised up to 300.000m3/day (it can be raised more to meet the practical requirements). In this period, the waterworks will employ the subterranean water supply from Vam Co Dong river.

Investor is ITA Water Investment Corporation of ITA GROUP. When the project comes into operation, it will create jobs for a large number of local labour, stabilize and improve life quality as well as contribute to the urbanization, a government policy, will create a large revenue for enterprises as well as for the national budget from the income tax and VAT, from water trading as well as from accompanied arising activities.
