ITA Foundations work with the Phu Yen Newspaper
On 12 September, 2007, at the headquarters of Phu Yen Newspaper, the Editorial Board of ItaExpress met with Editorial Director Pham Ngoc Phi to discuss ITA Foundations general and “ITA Foundation For Heal The Sorrows”.
Since our last report, “ITA Foundation For Heal The Sorrows” has received more than 100 requests for financial assistance through Phu Yen Newspaper. At the meeting it was suggested that Phu Yen Newspaper’s reporters collaborate with ItaExpress’ reporters to visiting each family. Four Phu Yen Newspaper’s reporters and Dioxin Victims Association combine ItaExpress’ reporters visiting villages and communes. This is the largest scale of close assessment yet undertaken by ItaExpress after it discovered some fraudulent claims had been made.
ItaExpress will finish its assessments on 16th September of 2007. It is hoped that after this ITA Foundations will be deployed seriously and exactly, and not only located in Phu Yen Province.
