Investment cooperation and tourism development Fair 2008
April 18, the economic-investment cooperation and tourism development Fair 2008 was held by Tan Tao Group at Tan An town ‘s Park and broadcast live on Long An television station.
Among attendants were Mr. Truong Van Tiep, Party Secretary of the Province; Mr. Do Hoang Viet, Vice-president of Provincial Committee; representatives of Ho Chi Minh city, Tien Giang, Tay Ninh, Can Tho, businessmen, journalists, and Long An residents.
The event is the first biggest fair held in Long An in coordination with the Ministry of Trade and Industry, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
It aims at developing tourism activities, promoting trade and investment, and opening new markets for local products in key Southern economic regions and the Mekong Delta.
170 companies joined the Fair with 300 stores. The stores displayed traditional numerous products of trade villages, handcrafts, agricultural-aqua cultural products, pharmaceutical products, housing models and services.
In addition, the seminars on economic potentials and ecological tourism development in Mekong Delta took place at the Fair.
