Funds Raised to Support Poor Students.

Many poor students still need support

from society

A new programme has recently been launched which aims to raise funds for poor students. This programme is dedicated to tackling the increasing problem of the rising cost of living.

The launch of the programme, lasting from 1 to 19 April, was organized by Thien Long Trade Production Joint Stock Company. It is hoped that the programme will raise 200 billion dong (USD 12, 500)

The program has been implementing in 100 secondary schools in Ha Noi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Can Tho. Students in the four largest cities recieved free Thien Long ball point pen. In return Thien Long will donate VND 200 to the fund.

Thien Long point pen is a well known trade name to students in Vietnam. Its factory is located in Tan Tao Industrial Park.

Local newspapers have recently reported that people across the country are facing increasing difficulties as the cost of living continues to rise faster than wages.
