Members of Chile‘s Chamber of Deputies visit Tan Tao Industrial Park

During a working visit to Ho Chi Minh city, on July 26, 2008, a delegation of the Republic of Chile led by the Vice-president of Chile‘s Chamber of Deputies Jorge Ulloa paid a visit to the Tan Tao Industrial Park.

The delegation was comprised of the members of the Chamber of Deputies Fidel Espinoza, Roberrto Leon, Mr. Marco A.Nunez and Ms. Pham Thi Phuong, Vice-head of the Southern Department of the Vietnam Congressional Office were received and greeted by the President of Tan Tao Group Thai Van Men; Vice-president Nguyen Thi Suong, and numerous employees of the Group.

At the meeting, the President of Tan Tao Group, Thai Van Men, introduced to the delegation the founding and consequent development of the Tan Tao Group over the past 11 years as well as its socio-economic achievements and national projects, including the Vina Universal Film Studio – Resort in Quang Ngai province, E.cities, Tan Duc Industrial Park in Long An province, Tan Son Nhat – Long An Toll Way, Kien Luong Thermal Power Plant, Hai Au Island Land Reclamation in Kien Giang province.

The delegation of the Chilean Chamber of Deputies paid particular attention to the favorable policies for investors and desired Tan Tao Group to become a connection bridge to boost trade and investment between Chile and Vietnam towards a Free Trade Agreement in the future. The Vice-president of the Chamber Jorge Ulloa recorded his emotions to the Tan Tao Industrial Park in the Guest Book of the Group.

At the end of the meeting, the delegation dropped over to the Thien Long Trading and Manufacturing Corporation in Tan Tao Industrial Park. Thien Long is a leading stationary producer in Vietnam with 4 factories and its products exported to Asia, Europe, Middle East and America.
