Fire prevention measures taken in dry season
Ho Chi Minh City Fire Department requests that all enterprises and factories in export processing zones and industrial parks within in the city take measures against fire disasters in dry season.
The security and fire brigade of Tan Tao Industrial Park have promptly implemented important measures to prevent fires. These measures apply to all companies and factories within the industrial park. The fire department, together with other members, have inspected electrical systems and thermogenetic appliances. Additionally, they also checked fire alarm system and reviewed fire prevention practices in the area. Not least, after working hours, they scheduled and dispatched many groups on daily basis in order to detect and solve urgent cases.
“We have upgraded and mapped out plans to secure fire prevention activities in the industrial park,” said Ha Van Dung, head of security and fire-fighter team of Tan Tao. “Until now, most of the companies have been equipped with fire prevention systems and we are currently maintaing a 24-hour patrol to cope with the worst unexpected circumstances in dry season,” he added.
