Russell 20-20 delegation visits Tan Tao IP

The Russell delegation visits the Paiho company.

The Russell 20-20 delegation came to visit APT and Paiho garment companies in Tan Tao IP on October 29, 2008 during the 4 working days in Vietnam.

The visit is expected to expose Russell 20-20 members to investment opportunities and enhance their understanding of political, economic, business and cultural climates in Vietnam, an emerging economy.

The delegation consisted of leaders of world leading financial institution comprised of GE Asset Management managing over USD 600 billion, JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management, Misubishi JFJ Trust & Banking Corporation, the largest bank in Japan; Bank of New York Mellon Asset Management managing VND 1,100 billion.

The delegation visits the frozen storage of the APT Co. (Road 1A – Tan Tao IP)

The delegation came to the workshop of the Paiho Co. in the Tan Tao IP, a textile manufacturing company. They were very impressed by the showroom displaying garment products made from its fibres. Then, they visited the APT export frozen products factory, which has been appraised better than Chinese frozen factories by the Russell members.

In the midst of serious global financial crisis, the visit of 60 members of the Russell 20-20, an organization with total worldwide assets of USD 12 trillion, to Vietnam this time will really play a very positive and important role in promoting and strengthening foreign investment into Vietnam market.
