Tan Tao Group announces detailed plan for Vina Universal Film Studio & Tourism Zone

The ceremony was participated by Vice-president of the Quang Ngai Provincical People‘s Committee, former president of Quang Ngai People‘s Committee Nguyen Kim Hieu, President of Duc Pho District People‘s Committee Le Van Mui, leaders of local departments, branches and authority levels and numerous local people from the planning zone comprised of Pho Khanh, Pho Thanh, Pho Chau communes.

On behalf of the Tan Tao Group, Permanent Vice-president of the Group Dang Quang Hanh and President of the Vina Film Studio & Tourism Zone Investment Corporation were present at the ceremony.

The Tourism Zone and Vina Universal Film Studio project cover an area of 2,569 hectares. It is bordered by the Eastern Sea to the East, Dien Truong and Sang mountains to the West, Sa Huynh seaport to the South and Trung Hai hamlet of Pho Khanh commune to the North.

The development project consists of casino, sports centre, resort, park, zoological garden, golf course (training ground, playing ground…), film studio (indoor studio, outdoor studio, studio infrastructure and auxiliaries, cinema park, square...etc), cultural tourism villages of Vietnamese ethnic groups and high-end villas.

Tan Tao Group plans to invest an estimated USD 50 million capital to build the Vina Universal commercial, service, tourism and studio complex at the international and regional scale.

In his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Hanh said: “We expect in the future not far way, the project will emerge as a commercial, tourism and service complex of international and regional stature in Quang Ngai, playing a crucial role in boosting the economic development of Duc Pho district as well as the Southern region of Quang Ngai, and at the same time, making positive contribution to improve the material and spiritual life of local people in Duc Pho district”, Vice-president of Quang Ngai People’s Committee Le Quang Thich spoke at the ceremony.

Vice-president of the province Le Quang Thinh suggested departments, branches and authority levels support the implementation of the planning process to complete the project quickly and efficiently and requested the Vina Film Studio & Tourism Corporation to conduct the ratified planning, ensure the planning process and accelerated progress, and prioritize local employment and environmental protection in particular.
