Ben Tre provincial People ‘s Committee awards certificate of merit to ITA-Foundations
On the morning of 25 January 2008, the Ben Tre provincial People‘s Committee awarded a certificate of merit to ITA-Foundations (Tan Tao Group) for its support and contribution to the building compassion houses for poor housholders in the province.
In 2007, the ITA-Foundations Tan Tao Group offered the Ben Tre provincial 'Sponsor Association' of poor patients and invalids VND 500,000,000 to build 50 houses. The donation is a part of the provincial People's Committee policy on building thousands of compassion houses for poor people, which is then commissioned to the Association's, branches, departments and unions to impolement. The movement has received significant contributions from many enterprises.
On the same day, a representative of the Tan Tao Group also attended the transfer ceremony of compassion houses to several poor householders in Giong Trom and Ba Tri district.
