Mr. Truong Tan Sang visited and wished a Happy New Year to staff in Tan Duc Industrial Park
At midday on 5 January, 2008 ( 29th in the lunar new year), in Duc Hoa district, Long An province, Mr. Truong Tan Sang, Standing Politburo Member and Permanent Member of the Secretariat of the Vietnam Communist Party Central Committee wished a Happy New Year to staff in Tan Duc Industrial Park of Tan Duc Investment Joint Stock Company ( an affiliate company of Tan Tao Group-Ho Chi Minh city).
Mr. Truong Tan Sang was greeted by all senior leaders of the Tan Tao Group. Among those in attendance were Ms. Dang Thi Hoang Yen, Chairwoman of the Management Board, Mr. Thai Van Men, President, Mr. Dang Quang Hanh, Permanent Vice President, Ms. Nguyen Nhu Y, Vice President of Tan Duc Investment Joint Stock Company, Mr. Nguyen Huu Dung, Head of Department of Personnel -Administration, Foreign Relations and all staff of Tan Duc Company. Tan Sang and the leaders of Tan Duc JSC reported to the Permanent Member of the Secretariat of the Vietnam Communist Party Central Committee that the Tan Duc Industrial Park, which is located in the Tan Duc Industrial-Residential-Service Zone in Duc Hoa district, Long An province, has currently completed land filling with the register of 89 investors, 20 % of whom are foreign companies.
Currently 8 of an expected 89 companies have gone into operation with the remaining 81 beginning operation in 2008. It is expected that Tan Duc Industrial Park will employ over 10, 000 workers.
Tan Duc Industrial-Urban Zone, which has a total area of 1,159 ha, consists of 442 ha of Industrial Park, 430 ha of Urban Area, and a further 287 ha assigned to the development of green space and sports and entertainment facilities. With a total of VND 5,000 billion investment the Zone is regarded as the largest and the most fully made industrial urban zone in the South of the country.
At the meeting Mr. Truong Tan Sang appreciated and praised the attempts of leaders and staff of Tan Duc Company and Tan Tao Group. Mr. Truong Tan Sang also requested that the developers focus on attracting high-technology investors in expansion phase 2 of the Industrial Park to further encourage the creation of stable jobs, thereby furthering encouraging national economic development.
