Competition Festival of Wrapping “Banh Chung”, “Banh Tet”- Ceremony Offering Scholarships to Poor Pupils on New Lunar Year
The competition festival will be held from 8 am to 12 pm on January 30 at the Dam Sen Cultural Park with the participation of 700 poor children including 50 students from Long An province.
In addition to the competition, the children will take part in games and sightseeing on islands and interesting entertainment spots. They will be instructed in how to write New Years greeting cards to their parents and relatives. On this occasion, poor children living in social centers, compassion classes and in the Cu Chi district will receive gifts from sponsors including 2,200 presents worth VND 100,000 each .
On this occasion, ITA-Foundations of the Tan Tao Group will offer 200 scholarships, each worth VND 1 million, to poor children who have overcome difficulties and achieved good results in their studies.
This is a program organized by Children Love Newspaper (Bao Yeu Tre) (Ho Chi Minh City Population-Family and Children Committee) in coordination with the Vietnam-US High-technology Dairy Joint Stock Company (Milky US) of Tan Tao Group.
