Experience and Expertise of the Board of Management

Mdm Dang Thi Hoang Yen – Chairwoman: 48 years old

Mdm Dang Thi Hoang Yen is one of the key founders of our Company and has been the Chairwoman of our Board of Management since November 1996. She has more than 11 years of experience in Land development in Vietnam and is overall responsible for establishing our Company’s business objectives and strategies and the general management of our Company. Mdm Dang Thi Hoang Yen is also the chairwoman of the board of management of New Orient, an export-import company, since July 1993, overseeing the general management and operation of the company. In addition, she is the president of US Southern Homes, LP, a residential development company and US Southern Corporation, a land development company, since June 2002 where she is responsible for managing the business operations of both companies. Between October 1980 and December 1991, Mdm Dang Thi Hoang Yen was the assistant to the vice chairman of the District 5 People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, where she assisted in the development of economic policies in Vietnam. From January 1992 to June 1993, she was the director of the Ho Chi Minh City Foreign Promotion Centre where she was involved in the improvement of the investment environment for foreign companies in Ho Chi Minh City. Mdm Dang Thi Hoang Yen graduated from the University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City with a bachelor’s degree of economics in August 1980. In addition, she had obtained a master’s degree in business administration from the Economics & Philosophy Institute in August 1988. Mdm Dang Thi Hoang Yen has been a member of the US Global Institute, the International Medical Institute, and the US Global Primary & Secondary Educational Foundation since January 2006. She is also the founder of “ITA Scholarship”, “ITA Medical Aid” and “ITA Veterans Assistance” (collectively the “ITA Foundations”) for the purpose of providing education, medical support and financial assistance to the needy in Vietnam since April 2007. Mdm Dang Thi Hoang Yen was awarded the “Super Star for Non-State run Company in Vietnam” in December 2007 and was conferred the distinguished Golden Rose Award by the Vice Prime Minister of Vietnam in March 2008. She has been working for Tan Tao group for last 13 years with great dedication without receiving any salary. Furthermore, when the company was listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange in 2006, she donated 3 million shares to present managers, staffs and employees of the company. More than one million shares have been granted to scholarship foundations and Tan Tao University for the last two years. In particular, in 2008, she contributed VND 500 billion for the construction of Tan Tao University in 2008.

Mr Lean Chee Yeow – 39 years old (alias: Mr William Lean) has been a member of our Board of Management since March 2007. He has more than nine years of experience in infrastructure development and is responsible for the Investors’ Relation of our Company. Mr Lean Chee Yeow is currently a managing director at VinaCapital Group Ltd, one of the largest Vietnam-focused investment management companies, where he was responsible for establishing VinaCapital Group Ltd’s infrastructure division and the listing of Vietnam Infrastructure Ltd on the London Stock Exchange’s AIM market in July 2007. Between May 1996 and March 1998, he was an analyst with HSBC James Capel – Kuala Lumpur where he conducted equity research. From January 1999 to August 2004, he was based in Bangkok with Asia Equity Infrastructure Fund (“AEIF”), an investment fund investing primarily in infrastructure assets in the Asia-pacific region. Between September 2004 and March 2006, he was the group managing director of HLG Capital Bhd, an [investment banking arm of Hong Leong Group] which is listed on the Bursa Malaysia, where he was responsible for the overall management and operations of the company. Mr Lean Chee Yeow graduated with a bachelor’s degree of science in economics & accountancy (with honours) from the City University in London in June 1991.

Mr Nguyen Thanh Phong- 31 years old has been a member of our Board of Management since June 2006. He has more than eight years of experience in the IT-engineering and architectural industry and is responsible for the Quality Control of our Company. He is also the President of SEI where he is in charge of the overall management of the company. From October 2001 to December 2007, he held various positions at SEI including being an engineer, deputy director and subsequently the vice president. Mr Nguyen Thanh Phong graduated with a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master's degree in business administration from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technique in June 2003 and June 2005 respectively.

Mr Dang Quang Hanh – 46 years old

Mr Dang Quang Hanh has been a member of our Board of Management since June 2006 and the First Vice President of our Company since December 2004. He has more than 11 years of experience in the development of industrial park in Vietnam and oversees our Company’s Human Resource & Administration, Quality Control, Construction & Technology, and Land Clearance Departments. Mr Dang Quang Hanh joined our Company in November 1996 as a Director and was responsible for the management of the Construction & Technology Department. He was subsequently promoted to Vice President in December 2004. Mr Dang Quang Hanh graduated from the Technical Training University of Ho Chi Minh City with a bachelor’s degree in engineering in June 2003. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Ho Chi Minh Marine University], which he obtained in September 1995. Mr Dang Quang Hanh has been a member of the ITA Foundations since April 2007. He has made a significant contribution to the development of ITACO since the early days of its foundation and become a pioneer contributing to charity and social activities from his own income, however, under Tan Tao Group name. He granted more than 3.3 million shares to Tan Tao University in 2008.

Mr Nguyen Tuan Minh – 41 years old has been an independent member of our Board of Management since February 2008. Mr Nguyen Tuan Minh joined our Company in 2002 as a manager of our research and development division and his responsibilities included overseeing and managing the development of our Land project developments. From 5/2003 to 6 / 2007, he was the Vice President of Tadico, where he was in charge of the management and development of Tadico’s projects. Mr Nguyen Tuan Minh graduated from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City with a bachelor’s degree of arts in economics in 6/ 1989. He also holds a master’s degree in business administration, which he obtained from the Solvay Business School in 8/ 2005.

Mr Dang Thanh Tam – 44 years old

Mr Dang Thanh Tam has been an independent member of our Board of Management since November 199]. He has over 11 years of experience in industrial parks and infrastructure development in Vietnam. Mr Dang Thanh Tam is also the president of Saigon Investment Group where he oversees the general management and operation of the company. Between November 1996 and December 2006, he was also the President of our Company and was in charge of the overall management of our Company. Mr Dang Thanh Tam graduated from the Vietnam Marine University with a bachelor’s degree in science in June 1987 and a bachelor’s degree in law and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Ho Chi Minh City National University in June 1995. He also holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Solvay Business University, in June 2002. He was awarded the 2nd Labour Medal and the 3rd Labour Medal by the Prime Minister of Vietnam in March 2006 and November 2001 respectively.
