ITA’s share raised by 14%

Compared to the closing price on 3 August 2007, this week's ITA share rose about 14% and closed at VND 144,000 per share on 10 August 2007.

ITA closed at VND 126,000 per share in the first trading of the week, down 1000 per share on last week. On the real-time order matching, the lowest price was VND 125,000 per share. However, this wasn’t the lowest traded price of the week.
On 7 August, the second day, investors could buy ITA shares at VND 124,000 each. However, prices ended at VND 130,000 per share having increased VND 6000 per share.

On the following days, ITA increased continuously along with the rising VNIndex. Although VNIndex lost 2.53 points on Friday and a number of securities decreased 1 to 3 points on Thursday, ITA still increased VND 6000 per share. Finally, ITA stocks increased 14% on last week and closed at VND 144,000 per share on 10/08/2007

There were 454,830 securities traded successfully with the total traded value of approximately VND 61.6 billion. Although the number of selling orders was triple that of buying orders, the buying volume was 10,000 shares more than the selling volume, accounted for 18%.

Foreign investors still boosted their buying order in the week, within this sector, selling ITA amount is 4.7 times higher than the buying. They ordered to buy 358,000 shares while the selling was just about 77,000. As a result, the buying volume was higher alsmot 70% and the selling was slightly downed for 16%.

In spite of the down in the beginning of the week, VNIndex still increased 42.8 point. Last Thursday was the highest increase day with the increased of 28,16 points or 3,09%. Day of 09/09 also noted the increase of 80 securities with 25 securities went ceiling.

VNindex closed at 935.68 points in last week.
