Greetings from San Francisco! I hope that this letter finds you in good health and spirits.
I am writing to inform you that the San Francisco – Ho Chi Minh City Sister City Committee is aware of your outstanding support for the prevention and vaccination against hepatitis B of 18,000 children in Long An Province. We know the World Health Organization (WHO) recently recognized hepatitis B as a disaster for human beings in May 2010. We would like to inform you that the Board of Directors of the Committee has voted unanimously to award Madame Dang Hoang Yen a Humanitarian Award for 2011.
We would like to celebrate your accomplishments on Sunday November 20, 2011 at your TTU when a delegation from San Francisco visits Vietnam. It is our sincere hope that you will notify us of your acceptance of this honor at your earliest convenience.
