Sponsor VND 2.1 billion for building compassion houses in Long An province

The Ceremony was attended by Vice-Permanent President of Tan Tao Group Mr. Dang Quang Hanh; Vice-Head of administration & public relation department and Vice-Director of ITA Way-s Mr. Nguyen Huu Dung; representatives of Long An province including Mr. Duong Quoc Xuan-President of the Provincial People ‘s Committee, and officials of provincial and district departments.

The VND 2.1 billion will be evenly divided between 7 districts of the province including Duc Hue, Thu Thua, Thanh Hoa, Moc Hoa, Tan Thanh, Vinh Hung and tan Hung. Ten houses, each worth VND 30 million, will be built for each district, giving priority for the policy and poor families.

During his speech, Mr. Dang Quang Hanh, Vice-Permanent President of Tan Tao Group expressed happiness, pride and responsibility felt by the Group towards social activities, and, in particular, to the looking after of policy families. Mr. Hanh suggested that the local authority carry out the house construction for policy families. He also stressed that the Tan Tao Group will follow up with companion projects of such meaningful social activities.

On behalf of Long An province, Mr. Duong Quoc Xuan expressed great gratitude to the Tan Tao Group. Mr. Duong Quoc Xuan said that Long An province has over 29 thousand revolutionary martyrs, nearly 10 thousand injured veterans, 70 thousand policy people, 1.798 Vietnam heroic mothers including 200 mothers alive. The authority built 4.500 compassion houses for policy people in the whole province….

However, due to the limits of the State Budget, such activities have remained modest. Therefore, Mr. Duong Quoc Xuan wants the activities to receive greater contributions, cooperation and assistance from businesses.
